So you start planning your event but first ask yourself, what kind of host am I?

Am I the type of person who likes to DIY everything? Does the thought of doing all the things stress me out? Do I want my party to be simple, memorable and fun?

Chances are one of the first things you do is consult Pinterest to find ALL the FABULOUS ideas, because seriously Pinterest is awesome! I can spend my fair amount of my time searching there. I get lost in all the dreamy ideas and then think to myself- “Well dang, that would be SO AWESOME if…”

• “we had the TIME to piece the STUFF together”

This is where my journey begins building CRATE PARTY. I was tired of the “if only’s” for my family and yours. It' was time for a movie night in our backyard with s’mores and popcorn! It was time to host my girl friends over for appetizers, themed cocktails and chick movies. It was time for amazing “beds of paradise” for kid slumber parties and slumber tentzzz! It was time for coffee, creativity and planning.

Being true to my personality I went all in…I let myself dream up different kinds of parties in my mind then I figured out how to make them for real. There were products that I wanted to create but didn’t know how so I had to tutorial my way through them.

I started doing extensive research on all the main “research” sites…I read so many product reviews that I couldn’t see straight. Learned a lot stuff and realized- perhaps, I’m not the only one who would enjoy hosting these events. These Pinterest worthy parties. I wanted to share it with others and make the process simple, affordable, memorable and fun-and so brought it to you!
